Back to School Picnic
A relaxed after-school hangout for families
Starting school can be a lot. This picnic is a chance to slow down, get outside, and let kids decompress together after their first days back.
Join us on Thursday after school for an easy, come-as-you-are picnic where kids can run, play, and be kids, and parents can connect without rushing off to another activity.
Bring your own picnic dinner, a blanket or lawn chairs, and anything your kids like to play with. There will be open space for free play and plenty of room to spread out.
This is not a program and not a drop-off. It is just a simple chance to be together, meet other families, and start the school year with connection instead of pressure.

Why we’re doing this
The first weeks of school are tiring for kids. Being outside with friends helps them reset, move their bodies, and feel connected. It is a small way to start the year with calm instead of chaos.
